Nea Chora as one of the easiest sea stops from town
Nea Chora makes sense when you want a simple beach break without giving up the Old Town and harbour rhythm. It stands correctly as a swim still tied to a city day.

These are two of the clearest nearby beaches when the plan is still anchored to Chania itself. They suit a half-day sea stop much better than a full west-coast mission.
Falassarna belongs to a dedicated western outing. It rewards a full beach day and works best when you are not trying to add too many other stops around it.
